Making use of fabric offcuts, this piece sandwiches small scraps of greens and blues between canvas and distressed muslin - creating a gorgeous iridescent effect. Echoed in the subtle use of colours, the gentle ripples of this river twist and turn through swirling embroidery in dark green. Finished with a touch of hand stitching, “River Bathing” is full of detail and would make a beautiful addition to any wall.
Piece measures 23 x 33 cm. Could be hung using a simple magnetic frame (see images) or using a dowel. The piece is complete with a sewn in hanging sleeve for the use of a dowel.
